Here’s a question for you, do you think blog posts are a good way to strengthen your search engine optimisation (SEO) campaign for your website? If you don’t believe they are then you’d be sadly mistaken. After months of posting on our blog we have notice a huge increase of traffic to both our blog and website. Some days have been better than others in terms of how many visits we have had, but by looking at our graph you can see where we began posting frequently (something you yourself should be doing on your blog):

As you can see, some weeks have been better than others when it comes to visitors. This is because of the material being posted by myself and other authors may not have been as good as other posts. The better the content the better the traffic, this means by posting relevant posts with appropriate titles and meta content will have a better chance of attracting readers than posts which have nothing of interest to web users.

So yes, blog posts are “all that” when it comes to SEO. The proof is in the pudding as some might say. The question is, what use is having people visit the blog when they should be visiting the website? By inserting links strategically you are able to give pages that may not be accessed as much a chance at being discovered by visitors. By posting frequently you will build trust with visitors, the better you are trusted the more likely you are to convert visitors from the blog to the website.

You may not be able to post frequently but by utilising a blog and posting as much as possible you have just as much chance at getting your website a higher traffic level than you once would. Don’t avoid this chance at gaining a higher popularity, we’ve discovered the benefits of blog posting and now it’s your turn to reap the rewards.
